Jeremiah J. Baronberg is Senior Director for Marketing and Communications at Blue Star Strategies, LLC, where he heads the firm’s external relations, publications, and media portfolio. He is editor of the firm's monthly newsletter, the Blue Star Brief.
Jeremiah has served in a variety of government affairs, strategic planning, marketing, and corporate social responsibility settings. His government, private sector, and nonprofit experience includes roles in the United States Congress with the Helsinki Commission on Security and Cooperation in Europe, international law and government relations firms, and nongovernmental organizations.
Prior to Washington, DC, Jeremiah lived in New York City where he worked for Rebuild Downtown Our Town, a city planning and public policy advocacy coalition. At R.DOT, he focused on issues related to the revitalization and sustainable redevelopment of the post 9/11 World Trade Center site and Lower Manhattan neighborhood.
Jeremiah serves on the Board of Directors of the American Jewish Committee, which focuses on global human rights, diplomacy, and inter-cultural bridge building. At AJC, he has co-chaired its emerging leaders division and has led international delegations for exchanges with senior government officials and civil society organizations in Austria, Chile, Greece, and Azerbaijan and at the United Nations. He also serves on the Honorary Committee of the Muslim-Jewish Conference.
Jeremiah holds a Master of Public Policy in Globalization Studies from The George Washington University and a B.A. in International Affairs and Middle East Studies from the University of Colorado at Boulder. He has lived, studied, and worked abroad in Israel and in Berlin and Leipzig, Germany and is a graduate of the National Outdoor Leadership School and the Aspen Institute's Socrates Program for emerging leaders.
Jeremiah grew up in Denver, Colorado and is an avid tennis and squash player, cyclist, and outdoor enthusiast.
