Carlos Espinosa
Director at Blue Star Strategies
Carlos Espinosa is a Director at Blue Star Strategies, LLC. His previous experience includes working for the International Republican Institute (IRI) as Chief of Party for programs in Nicaragua, El Salvador, Egypt, Thailand, and Malaysia. In that role he oversaw and trained governments, NGO's, and political parties on issues ranging from governance, communications, political strategy, and organizational development.
 
Prior to his work with IRI, he was Deputy Chief of Staff and Spokesman for a senior member of the House International Relations Committee on Capitol Hill. Mr. Espinosa also served as senior advisor for reputation management at a crisis communications PR firm, where clients included Fortune 500 companies, celebrities, and foreign governments.
 
From 1992 to 2002 Mr. Espinosa worked on some two dozen U.S. Congressional, Senate, and Gubernatorial campaigns, and also served in integral positions within the Republican National Committee, National Republican Congressional Committee, and Republican Governors Association in Washington, DC.
 
Carlos attended Texas A&M University, and earned a Communications Degree from St. Edwards University in Austin, Texas. Carlos is married, has two wonderful children, and is a self-proclaimed college football fanatic and seasoned traveler who has been to eight out of ten on his list of World Wonders.
